Job Summary: Coach Peer Mentor for Stockton Unified School District
Part-time, seasonal position requiring full availability, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4:30pm and 1:30-4:30pm, with a $20/hour rate, working with students in a school setting.

About the Role
The Coach Peer Mentor will engage students in social-emotional learning and physical education, facilitating games and activities, and supervising students during snack time.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Implement Elevo's SEL and PE curriculum with students
  
• Certify instructional minutes required for the program
  
• Facilitate games and activities with students
  
• Supervise students during snack time and other activities
  
• Create a safe learning environment and implement strong behavior management skills
  
• Communicate effectively with guardians and school staff
  
• Operate and navigate modern technology
  
• Act as a positive role model and demonstrate exceptional customer service
  
• Follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school

  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, or child development
    
  • Authorized to work in the US
    
  • High school diploma or GED
    
  • 18 years of age
    
  • Completion of mandatory training and district required trainings
