Description/Preferred Qualifications The Mechanical Design Engineer
will perform mechanical design of parts and assemblies using Creo
and generate drawings with GD&T for high-performing wafer
positioning/motion stages and related tooling. They will conduct
design reviews, procure prototypes, and work with vendors as well
as drive prototype testing, system integration, stage servo tuning
and handoff to manufacturing. The engineer will test and qualify
stages to ensure they meet performance & reliability requirements.
They will perform analysis and simulations, such as structural,
thermal, vibration/modal FEAs, motor current/voltage/power
calculations, etc.. They will create documents and procedure for
manufacturing/assembly of various systems and collaborate with
other engineering groups such as controls engineers, systems
engineers and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless
integration and to optimize performance! Must have:
